Brown University places a great deal of emphasis on the student's personal experience in the form of an individual profile. The students build a multi-faceted life—interests and explorations are interdisciplinary and engage beyond the curriculum and into the community. The design approach greatly emphasized this referencing a David Hockney style of imagery.
